Congratulations on finding our page, if you're here because you want to vote for us, then hi, you're pretty awesome. But, if you came here because you don't know who to vote for, or were told by someone to vote for them and by a miracle stumbled upon our page, I would like to convince you to vote for us, so let's get started.
We are different from other tickets due to who we are. Let's be honest, you probably know that all these candidates are promising the same basic things: fun events that anyone could think of, generic policies that inevitably will not go into effect, and that they are going to make this school so much better than it ever has been. We propose an alternative to these types of promises. Sure, having all these events and policies that are in everyone else's campaigns is nice, but we have the means to go beyond that standard. We have the experience and dedication to follow through with what we say, and beyond our plans for events and policies that would make the school better, we have administrative plans, and know how to run a freshman caucus that works for the students they're representing, and not for the interests of the people in the freshman caucus.
If what we've just said has caught your attention, please read on to learn more, you made it this far after all :)
About Us:
or in other words, our experience in school leadership 💪
Hi, my name is Sienna. In middle school, I’m proud to say that I was on the student council for three years, and appointed to the Executive Committee by my principal in my third year there. I was also spearheading multiple school events, including Spirit Week and No-Name Calling Week (an event to emphasize the impact of bullying on students). My experience as a student leader and ability to create connections with students around me is what sets me apart from other candidates, and combined with Tristan’s acumen for business and work ethic, I believe that we balance each other out to successfully fulfill the roles of Freshman Caucus co-presidents. I am also in the Even Planning department at SU, which would make organizing events for freshmen considerably easier.
Hi, I'm Tristan. After being suggested to run by a friend of mine, I got involved with running for Freshman Caucus and decided I was willing to commit to doing so. From the start, I wanted to focus on transparency and unity, as I felt one of the problems the Freshman caucus inevitably faces is dealing with leaders who are running for personal gain and popularity, rather than wanting to serve the community around them. I want to solve this problem, and I plan to do so. I was on the student council during my time at my middle school, and at study, I've built a reputation of being a good public speaker, being in debate, and participating in all my classes. When I speak I try to be engaging and informative, which is something you want to have in a leader who is meant to represent you and what you want for others. I'm sure with me and Sienna on the job, the freshman caucus will achieve things never been able to do before.
TL;DR: Basically, we're really cool and you should vote for us.
Uh-oh, time for the boring stuff!

that's not a word, is it 💀
We want to run an administration based on doing the stuff a student government should do, plus having actual communication with the student body, which is something that probably should be done in the first place.
