With our extensive background and experience (Elly as Freshman Caucus President & Tenzin as Freshman Caucus Secretary) in leadership, organizing events, communication, and service, count on us as your Sophomore Caucus Presidents to make the most out of our sophomore year.

As the candidates with the most Student Union/Caucus experience, we know how Caucus functions and the amount of work that happens behind the scenes. We’ve learned a lot of lessons from leading the Freshman Caucus and we want to improve on those issues and make sure Sophomore Caucus functions even more effectively and efficiently. 

• Our ticket believes that the Sophomore Caucus should not just hold fun events but also ones that will support the wellbeing of our peers.
• We are committed to creating meaningful opportunities that will help the Class of 28’ sophomores grow beyond just their academic capabilities.
• We believe that instead of making the grade adapt to our agenda, we’ll be open minded and responsive to constructive feedback on our leadership. Yes–we will be leaders who adapt to YOUR wants and needs.
• It’s imperative that the heads of a Caucus are realistic in what they plan to achieve. Considering that our ticket has the most knowledge on the way Caucus operates, we’ve also made the most realistic policies.

Rather than throwing out a long list of flashy or unrealistic ideas, we believe in prioritizing quality over quantity. We have taken the time to think through what actually matters to sophomores and what’s realistically achievable. With our experience in Freshman Caucus, we know how much time and dedication it takes to enact initiatives–from planning to organizing and executing. Our platform isn’t just made up of fancy promises, it’s a set of concrete, thoughtful plans that we know how to implement because we’ve done it before. Even The Spectator agrees.
