We propose a 6-step platform:

Freshmen depend on digital assignments, but the device ban has made schoolwork harder. We want to make sure you can actually finish your work in school, not at 11 PM.

• Supervised Device-Friendly Rooms: Designated classrooms during frees where students can responsibly complete digital homework.
• More School Computers: Fundraisers and alumni drives to add computer stations on every floor—so the library isn’t the only option.
• Paper Assignment Options: Work with teachers to offer more paper copies of homework and textbook problems.

2. Improving the School Environment

• Early Arrival Support: Better systems for students who arrive way before first period, so your time is comfortable and productive.
• Instrument Upgrades: Push for well-maintained band/orchestra instruments for better rehearsals and performances.
• Bigger Cafeteria Portions: Advocate for permission to take more food when portions aren’t enough.

3. Freshman Support Systems

Because supporting you is the whole point.

• The Freshman Hotline: A student-run, anonymous question line for quick help, guidance, or reassurance—no pressure, no judgment.

4. Events That Bring Us Together

• Club Food Festival: Clubs showcase signature foods, attract members, raise funds, and build community.
• Monthly Gaming Tournaments: Fun competitions open to everyone, with prizes and optional fundraising entry fees.
• “Looking Fresh” Newsletter: Monthly drop of deadlines, events, art contests, reminders, and opportunities just for freshmen.

5. Extracurricular Accessibility

Activities shouldn’t feel out of reach!

• Clear info on how to join clubs, try programs, and access opportunities.
• Events (like the food festival + tournaments) designed to bring everyone in, not leave people out.

6. Everyday Quality-of-Life Fixes

Small changes, big difference.

• Lost-and-Found Overhaul: Sorted by item type, not one chaotic bin—and actually visible so you can find what you lost.
• Fewer Escalator Breakdowns: It seems like we can never have a day where all elevators are working...
• Cardboard Locker Dividers: Simple, cheap separators so you never mix your stuff with your locker buddy again.
